During a routine inspection
All of the people we spoke to were complimentary about the service. One person told us, 'I could not fault it. They (the staff) have been brilliant day and night.' They added, 'I have nothing to complain about, in fact, I don't want to go home.' Another person said, 'They look after me well, I am very happy with the care.' A further person said, 'The staff are very kind, they look after me well. They help me when I need it.'
We observed that people were treated with dignity and respect. People had a choice of how they wanted to spend their day, what to eat and when to get up and go to sleep.
The service had assessed people's individual needs and the risks to their safety. These were regularly reviewed to ensure that the care provided was safe and effective.
People's records were accurate and up to date.
