During a routine inspection
We spoke with two people using the service. One person told us they were very satisfied with the care they had received on the day of our visit. They also told us, 'the health information provided to them prior to and following their appointment was clear and concise'. The nurse providing their care and treatment had been, 'excellent.' They were treated with courtesy, respect and told us they felt a 'lot better and reassured' following their appointment. Another person told us they had accessed health visiting services. They told us 'the health visitors are really good and really helpful.'
We saw people using the services were greeted at the centre appropriately and they were provided with clear information about their appointment. We saw from all of the care records we looked at. People were actively involved and consulted about their care and treatment options and they had provided consent to their care and treatment.
We found people's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan.
People's health, safety and welfare was protected when more than one provider was involved in their care and treatment, or when they moved between different services. This was because the provider worked in co-operation with others.
People's personal records including medical records were accurate and fit for purpose.
