All Inspections

During a routine inspection
We reviewed eight care records in detail and these clearly identified how the individual care and treatment needs of people were being met by this hospital. This demonstrated to us that care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.
The care and treatment pathways seen showed us that the provider worked closely with Norfolk Social Services and NHS primary care and acute hospital services. This meant that people's health, safety and welfare was protected when more than one provider was involved in their care, because the provider worked in co-operation with others.
We saw that the ward and the equipment used by people were clean and well maintained. This meant that people were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment.
We saw a clear Trust audit programme in place and evidence was seen of the actions taken in response to any identified concerns. This demonstrated to us that the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
