NHS England oversees and maintains two national workforce equality data collections that promote equality of career opportunities and fairer treatment in the workplace.
The Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) is a set of measures that help NHS organisations compare the workplace and career experiences of disabled and non-disabled staff.
The Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) helps organisations look at the experience of staff from ethnic minorities.
Organisations use the data from the standards to develop and publish action plans.
Although we are not an NHS organisation, we report on WDES and WRES and publish action plans to show our commitment to providing a fair and inclusive environment for our colleagues.
