Description
An Improvement Notice was issued to the employer under Section 21 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, following an inspection of the nuclear medicine department. This identified concerns around the content of employer’s procedures, including arrangements for carers and comforters, pregnancy and breastfeeding enquiries and clinically significant accidental or unintended exposures.
