Date of assessment 09 October 2024 to 31 October 2024. We assessed areas of the well led key question in response to concerns which had been raised. Campden Home Nursing CIO provides hospice care for people who are living with life limiting conditions using a blend of therapies and home visits. We found the service was providing a good standard of care to people who use the hospice at home service. Staff, managers and leaders of the service demonstrated a common aim of providing good care for patients who received care from the hospice at home service. Staff were proud to work for the service and most had experienced good support from their immediate line manager. Staff talked about variable experiences they had received from senior managers and some felt they had not always been fairly treated. Managers used systems to monitor outcomes for people and were reviewing how they could improve the service provided. However, there was limited scrutiny at a senior level to provide assurance about all aspects of performance and quality of the service.
