During an assessment under our new approach
Date of assessment: 27 January 2025. We gathered information from people who used the service, relatives, both registered managers, care staff, and from health and social care professionals who have worked with the service. We looked at all 34 quality statements.
At this assessment we found people received reliable, timely and effective support from staff who understood their needs well. They built up a good rapport with people and involved them in care planning.
Staff arrived on time, always stayed for the duration of calls and took care to ensure people had everything they needed before they left. They acted professionally and respectfully. They took the time to understand people’s preferences and to act on them.
The service had well established electronic records systems in place. The registered managers had effective oversight of these and was able to use it to monitor and review the service, ensuring any errors were identified and acted on positively.
The registered managers were approachable and supportive of their staff. They worked closely with colleagues and people who used the service to ensure care standards met their expectations.
