Medicines were being managed safely. Medicine Administration Records (MARs) showed that medicines had been administered as prescribed. Medicine audits were carried out to ensure people received their medicines safely. Staff had also been trained in medicines management and told us they were confident in managing medicines. We saw evidence that the provider worked with medical professionals and families as well as people to review people's medicines and to support people to reduce medicines that were no longer required. The registered manager told us, “We talk to staff and remind them about the importance of administering medicines safely. We work with the pharmacy and the GP, and they are very helpful. We support people to review their medicines on time and have regular medicine reviews.”
