Our view of the service

Date of assessment 16 to 27 July 2024. Boughton Green Road Limited is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to up to 14 people. The service provides support to older and younger people with brain acquired injuries, mental health, or physical disability needs. At the time of our assessment there were 14 people using the service. We conducted this assessment due to receiving information of concern and reviewing the information we held about the service. As part of our assessment activity, we undertook on-site visits on 16 and 17 July 2024. We assessed a total of 17 quality statements across safe, caring, responsive and well-led key questions. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the key question ratings from the last inspection. At this assessment, we found improvements had been made in relation to information contained in care records and overall governance. Any risks to people’s care had been identified and plans in place to mitigate the risk. People were encouraged to make choices for themselves and remain as independent as possible. Staff knew how to keep people safe.
