Score: 3

Staff and leaders actively listened to information about people who were most likely to experience inequality in experience or outcomes and tailored their care, support and treatment in response to this.

However, we saw certain language being used in care records when describing a person’s disability. Certain terms we found to be outdated and not considered an inclusive or respectful way to describe a person’s disability. We told the registered manager to always use person-first language when describing a person’s disability.
