Our view of the service
Together Nest Lane is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to up to 8 people. At the time of the assessment, 1 person was in receipt of personal care. Our assessment activity started on 28 February 2024 and ended on 11 March 2024. A site visit to gather people’s experiences and observe care practices was carried out on 28 February 2024. As part of the assessment we looked at 8 quality statements: Safeguarding; Safe environment; Supporting people to live healthier lives; Kindness, compassion and dignity; Independence, choice and control; Listening to and involving people; Freedom to speak up and Governance, management and sustainability.
People's experience of this service
People were protected from the risk of abuse. People were living in a safe environment that met their needs. People were supported by staff to manage their own health, care and well being. People's choice, control and independence was promoted by staff and leaders. People were treated with kindness and compassion. People’s independence and choice was encouraged and supported. People were given regular opportunities to provide feedback on the care and support they received.
