Well-led
The service had a registered manager who had a clear understanding of their role, responsibilities and accountability.

Freedom to speak up
Staff told us they felt confident to raise any concerns or issues with the management team. One staff member said, "[Registered manager] is very approachable and I believe all staff including myself feel extremely comfortable to raise any concerns with [registered manager]."
Staff had access to information on how to raise and report concerns. The provider had a whistle blowing policy and procedure in place. The aim of this is to encourage employees and others who have concerns about any aspect of the service to come forward and voice those concerns.
Workforce equality, diversity and inclusion

Governance, management and sustainability
The registered manager understood their role and responsibilities in ensuring people received safe and good quality care and support. The registered manager was pro-active in ensuring audits were completed and care records were kept up to date. The registered manager ensured staff performance was monitored and support was given.
Staff told us they felt supported in their roles and spoke positively of the service they worked for. One staff member said, "There is a manager, a deputy manager and two senior staff. I receive support in supervision, however I access support from my manager informally and regularly. I feel I can ask for this at any time."
