We assessed 1 quality statement in the responsive key question and found no areas of concern. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the rating from the last inspection which was rated good. Our rating for the key question has not changed and remains good. The service was responsive. People and their relatives were in involved in the planning and reviewing of their care and support. Staff understood the needs and wishes of people they provided care and support to on a regular basis. .

Equity in experiences and outcomes

People or their relatives told us they were involved in their care planning prior to support commencing. People told us care plans were reviewed and changed accordingly. Most people were happy with the support they received from their regular carers, however, when other carers provided the support there were concerns on how well they knew the person. People's views on the service was fed back to the management team.

Staff and leaders demonstrated a good understanding of people's needs and how they were to be met and they understood the processes to follow if they identified a change in people's needs.

Systems were in place for the regular review and monitoring of the care and support delivered to people. People had the opportunity to discuss their experiences and make any changes to their planned care.
