The provider had a structured approach to quality assurance, which consisted of a range of audits. These were used to improve people’s care and learn lessons. Staff gave positive feedback about management of the service.

Governance, management and sustainability
Staff told us they were encouraged to provide feedback and make suggestions to improve the service. They said they felt listened to and usually received feedback on their suggestions. A staff member said, “The management team is receptive, and I usually receive feedback on any issues I bring up.”
The provider had a structured approach to quality assurance (QA), which included clear guidance on which audits were required and timescales for completion. The QA process consisted of various audits and checks on people’s care, including quality of life, medicines and finances. Thes had been effective in identifying areas for improvement. People were encouraged to participate in quality audits focused on areas such as their home, money and relationships with others. Incidents, accidents and safeguarding concerns were regularly analysed to check appropriate action was taken and lessons learnt.
